An often repeated criticism of Non government institutions is the measurable change that they have been able to bring about – if any at all. Kalyani, that works in the tribal regions of Jhadol in Udaipur, demonstrates what twenty years of relentless pursuit can bring about. The film commemorates twenty years of Kalyani’s work. Told in first person, through the eyes of mother and son – carving new dreams shows us that nothing is impossible and why with the right aptitude and best intentions change is just around the corner!
